I want to switch to Linux for security reasons but I've still got some windows programs that I am attached to.
What's the best way to go about this? Is Linux still secure if I run a Linux and Windows OS on the same machine?
Or should I try to run Windows in a VM? Will that be too slow?
I've also seen some programs like crossover or wine that allow windows programs to run on Linux, my only concern is that some programs I want to run might not be supported by those platforms e.g. Solidworks
What's the best way to go about this while still maintaining high security.
