To get to know all pieces that are building your computer, you should decompose it and start with learning how does each of them works, and what is its function.
To check some of the basic tech specs, such as processor, memory, and the current version of Windows 10, you can use the Settings app to view this information with these steps.
If you are looking for your computer specs, you should open your system information. Depending on which OS you have, it can be located in different places, but mostly all of them have a section or icon for system information that you can find by the searching option your computer provides.
Before going to buy any PC First, you should check the below specs and you next proceed to take it;

How to Check What CPU (Processor) You Have?

If you want to find out what kind of processor you have, here is an easy procedure of a few steps that you can follow. Go to the Start, then find and open System section that will appear in the list of options. Opening the System, you are going to see a section “processor” that will show you what kind of processor you have.

To find out what CPU (Processor) you have, simply do the following :
  1. Right-click on the Windows start menu icon on the bottom left-hand side of your screen.
  2. Click on ‘System’ in the menu that pops up.
  3. Next to ‘Processor’, it will list what kind of CPU you have on your computer.
  4. That's it! Here you find your PC's CPU Specs.

How to Check What GPU (Graphics Card) You Have?


To you want to find out what GPU (graphics card) you have in your PC is also a very easy task. 
Go to the Start, and find Device Manager in the options that appear. In Device Manager, there will be shown the option “Display Adapters”. Clicking on it, you will get the list with your graphics card on it. There can be more than one option under the Display Adapters, and this means that your integrated graphics are shown here too.
To find out what GPU (graphics card) you have, simply do the following :

  1. Right-click on the Windows start menu icon.
  2. Click on ‘Device Manager’ in the menu that pops up.
  3. In ‘Device Manager’ click on the arrow next to ‘Display Adapters’
  4. That's it! Your GPU (Graphics Card) will be listed out there.

How to Check What Motherboard You Have?

To find motherboard information on your PC, just you can open your desktop and see the information on it. this is an option that not everyone can choose because not everyone is familiar with the labels and meaning of its content.
If you have a laptop, this is not an option for you.
To find out what Motherboard do you have for your Laptop, simply do the following :

  1. In the Windows search bar, type in ‘System Information’
  2. Scroll down on the System Summary tab (opens on the left side of the window) until you find ‘Motherboard Manufacturer’, or ‘BaseBoard Manufacturer’.
  3. The information next to ‘Motherboard/BaseBoard Manufacturer’, ‘Motherboard/BaseBoard Model’, and ‘Motherboard/BaseBoard Name’, should give you the information you are looking for.
  4. That's it! your motherboard is listed out there.

How to Check How Much Memory (RAM) Your PC Have?

To check how much memory (RAM) on your PC, This is also an easy task, and this information is listed the same where the information about your processor. So, when you get to the System section, scroll down until you see how much memory your computer provides.
To find out what How Much Memory (RAM) Your PC Have, simply do the following :


  1. Right-click the Windows start menu icon.
  2. Select ‘System’
  3. Scroll down and it should list how much memory you have.
