🐧 Are there any FOSS community-driven search engines out there - similar to what ClamAV is to antivirus, but cloud-oriented, and maintained by a trusted list of volunteers

To clarify - I am indeed asking for alternatives to google/bing/etc, but not for "privacy-focused" closed source search engines like duckduckgo or startpage.

In the same manner that we have trusted ad block lists stemming from conscientious and diligent maintainers hosted on public code repos, I am asking if there are any similar lists dedicated to indexing the web in a transparent way.
