You can now transfer your music from Google Play Music to YouTube Music-- Transferring your library from Google Play Music to YouTube Music is as simple as pressing a button with this new feature.
It has been months since it was confirmed that YouTube Music will be Google's music streaming service, thus replacing Google Play Music. In these months, the application has been updated with an abundance of new functions, to perfect its operation and make it go to compete with others such as Spotify or Amazon Music.
if it was going to be possible and you are waiting for an update on how to transfer their library from Google Play Music to YouTube Music. This feature is finally made available to you and will be much easier than many thought. Since we will not have to go through a complex process, a single button is enough to make it possible.
The process is seemingly pretty simple: once you install the YouTube Music app for Android or iOS, you'll see a button to transfer all of your uploads, playlists, added songs and albums, likes, dislikes, and taste preferences over to the new service. YouTube Music's recommendations will update with the new information right away, and Google will notify users via e-mail once their library has been transferred.

Transfer your music from Google Play Music to YouTube Music

To Transfer your music from Goole Play Music to Youtube Music follow these steps:
  1. Download the YouTube Music app on iOS or Android.
  2. Sign in to your Google account (the same one you use in Google Play Music).
  3. Wait for the Transfer button to come out.
  4. Now Click on the transfer button in YouTube Music, and your uploads, purchases, added songs and albums, personal and subscribed playlists, likes and dislikes, curated stations and personal taste preferences will move right over.
  5. Your updated recommendations will appear on the YouTube Music home screen, and we’ll notify you via email and notifications when your music library transfer is complete and your music is in the “Library” tab.
  6. That's it! Google will notify users via e-mail once their library has been transferred.

This process will transfer all the music that was in your account in Google Play Music. This includes the music you have uploaded, personal preferences, created playlists, purchases made, songs and discs added to your collection, the stations you have selected, those contents where you have marked "Like" or "Dislike". With a single click, everything will be transferred to the new application.
The duration of this process will depend on the amount of music you had on Google Play Music. An important step by Google, which makes it clear that YouTube Music is your bet as an application for streaming music on Android and iOS. The application thus hopes to be able to compete with Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon Music. Therefore, more improvements will come to it, to help it gain ground.
