📚 AsusWrt-Merlin Rolls Out New Firmware - Download Version 380.65 Beta 1

AsusWrt-Merlin has rolled out a new firmware package targeted at some of ASUS’ wireless routers, namely version 380.65 beta 1, which manages to update OpenVPN (2.4.0), Tor (0.2.9.8), nano (2.7.4), and Busybox (1.25.1). In addition to that, the current firmware added Busybox applets (ntpd, time, uniq, xargs and getopt) and Vodafone R226 USB LTE support, removes support for all RC ciphers on OpenVPN and creates a system log entry when a new update is available. Moreover, this build fixes Network Service Firewall rules, Port Triggering, “Sorting clients by connection time” filter, as well as several issues regarding Exported OpenVPN client config, OpenVPN connection, and OpenVPN client/server instances. Last but not least, you should also know that Merlin’s files are merged with Asus GPL 380_4180 (Network Tools/Connections/etc... pages are fixed), will implement a new “update-notification” script, and resolve other issues as highlighted in the Release Notes below.
