Like most people over here I work in Computer Science and Engineering related field. Most of my mundane day work tasks can be automated with a few lines in my .bashrc, .vimrc, etc. or some tiny script if I spend some time figuring out what the best way to do. Some time I find myself spend more time working on these small customization for extensive periods of time without doing any actual work.
Now coming to the actual question.
In your opining how much time should be allocate to improve our workflow? Is it, - 15 mins a day? - 30 mins a day? - 1 hr in a specific workday?
Also, how do we know how much is enough?
I was sure if r/linuxquestions was the correct place to ask this, that's why I asked it here.
I am new to Linux. Forgive my English.
