Today, I'm pleased to inform that CoBang v0.4 has been on FlatHub. Since the last announcement of version 0.1, what I have done are:
- Attempt to build it as Flatpak and submit to FlatHub (the v0.4 still does not appear because of FlatHub's 3-hour delay).
- Test and verify that it works on other DEs, like KDE, Xfce, LxQt.
- Support other methods to add an image for scanning: drag & drop, copy/paste. The nice thing is that it can load remote images. For example, you can mount a remote folder via SFTP in Nautilus and copy or drag an image from there to CoBang. You an also open a web page in Firefox, copy an image there and paste to CoBang.
Ubuntu user can already grab it from PPA, because of shorter delay.
The future features are QR code generation and employing libhandy to support Linux phones. But it will help me a lot if someone can package newer libhandy and host in Ubuntu PPA.
