Werewolves, a spooky town and a chonky Chris. What you need to know Resident Evil Village was recently announced by Capcom as the next mainline Resident Evil game. It's being developed exclusively for next-generation consoles and PC. Several screenshots have been released. During the recent PS5 showcase, one of the major third-party titles shown was Resident Evil Village. As previous rumors indicated, this game follows Ethan, protagonist of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, as he follows Chris Redfield to a snowy village filled with creepy characters, including werewolves. Much like the past few Resident Evil games, Resident Evil Village is running on the RE Engine. This time however, the developers aren't held back by current hardware, as Resident Evil Village is only coming to next-generation platforms and PC. You can take a look at several screenshots below.
