Microsoft is projected to take the wraps off the Surface Duo, the company’s very own Android smartphone, in the coming weeks, and Panos Panay himself appears to suggest that the debut of the device is just around the corner. Microsoft’s Chief Product Officer and the man who made the Surface lineup what it is today posted a photo on Instagram to show how his family is spending Father’s Day, with a Surface Duo also showing up in the pic as an obvious teaser ahead of the public launch. The Surface Duo is expected to launch before Samsung unveils the new Galaxy Fold in early August, so there’s a chance that we’re only a few weeks away from the moment the company announces this Android device.
