๐ PSA: mint installation doesn't warn about deleting partitions (I'm assuming other debian based distros are the same)

So. I was having issues with installation. Long story short I had my 200 gig partition with windows on it and I went to resize it, and shutting my brain off and going auto pilot I pressed the - icon and boom partition gone. I knew that - deleted partitions, I just wasent thinking and screwed up. I'm 14 yet screw up as much as a toddler. So boom there goes my windows partition including EVERYTHING on my pc. Luckily I have my old hard drive in my old pc still so I can get a backup from ~a week ago but still I'm pretty mad. And the thing is, when you press the - icon it's just boom gone. There's no "are you sure you would like to delete everything?" warning. And as I said in the title idk but I'm assuming other debian based distros do the same. I had ubuantu previously but I pressed install alongside windows 7, but mint I had to partition manually as it wasent showing up.
So please oh god please if anyone who works on Debian based or knows someone who does please ask them to add a warning before deleting a partition as I'm assuming I'm not the only one who learned the hard way.
