📚 Microsoft Explains How Windows 10 Will Improve Every Game’s Frame Rate

One of the features coming in the Windows 10 Creators Update is called Game Mode and it’s specifically supposed to improve gaming performance by prioritizing processes used by games. In a video rolled out today, Microsoft finally provides more information on this upcoming Game Mode, but without digging into details, as the feature is projected to be released to insiders with more options in the next Windows 10 Creators Update build. Microsoft says that Game Mode will “prioritize CPU and GPU resources to your game” in order to improve the frame rate, but the company does not explain how exactly it’ll do that. On the other hand, it looks like at least at first, Game Mode will require users to manually enable the feature for each game they launch, but at some point during development, automatic start could also be added. Microsoft says that some games will indeed support this feature, but not all of them, so there’s a good chance that users will still have to turn it... ...
