The biggest wave of new characters yet. What you need to know Gears 5 first released in 2019. Since then, The Coalition has released several content updates, adding new characters and maps. The latest update, Operation 4: Brothers in Arms, is adding six characters, including Dominic Santiago. There's a trailer showing everything this update has added. The Coalition previously announced that Dom was making his debut Gears 5 Operation 4: Brothers in Arms. Now, Operation 4 has launched and Dom isn't alone: six characters have been added in this update, alongside three maps, a new Ranked system and more. You can check out the trailer below. Operation 4 has also introduced a new way to unlock characters. Now, if you unlock a character's skin, you'll also unlock that character and immediately be able to use them.
