Microsoft is no longer selling the Surface 3 and the company has made a pretty big step towards killing this model and focusing exclusively on the Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book. The old model has been around for so long even though Microsoft launched the Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book in late 2015, but it was believed that the company would also debut a successor to the Surface 3 as well. However, with the demise of the Surface 3, Microsoft puts the focus entirely on Pro models, with rumors now claiming that the company would introduce a successor as soon as the spring of this year. The Surface 3 was the first non-Pro Surface that ran the full version of Windows 10, as both the Surface RT and the Surface 2 were powered by Microsoft’s Windows RT flop.
