Parsix GNU/Linux 8.15 and 8.10 Get Linux Kernel 4.4.47 LTS, New Security Updates

It's been a month since we've told you about the newest security updates that landed in the stable software repositories of the Debian-based Parsix GNU/Linux operating system, and it's time to keep you guys up to date with what's going on. First of all, the Parsix GNU/Linux developers were quite busy lately pushing the final release of Parsix GNU/Linux 8.15 "Nev" out the door, which is based on the latest Debian GNU/Linux 8.7 "Jessie" operating system, the long-term supported Linux 4.4 kernel, and GNOME 3.22 desktop environment. That doesn't mean the other supported version, Parsix GNU/Linux 8.10 "Erik," did not receive any new security updates, which are always tracked and backported from the Debian Stable "updates" and "security" repositories.
