The raid encounters are not active, but players have been able to explore nearly every area within the raid. If details about how the encounters work are discovered, it may jepoardize the integrity of the World's First raid race on November 21. A full week prior to the raid's release on November 21, a group of Destiny 2 players from the r/raidsecrets subreddit have managed to break into the Deep Stone Crypt raid area on Europa early. This was achieved through use of exploits to get out of the map and then go back into it in the raid areas.
