📚 Best Distro for a 10 years old Laptop

Hey guys, i have a question, i have a 10 years old Dell Laptop with 1GB of RAM, that laptop was with Windows 7, but it was baaaad to use, it was so heckin slow, so i tried to switch to Linux Mint, it's... Fine? I guess, but it's still laggy on some points (like Surfing the internet), so i searched on some forums and i found another interesting Distro, Arch Linux, that seems pretty good for an Old Laptop, i want to ask you: is Arch good for this old machine? Or i must try another Distro? Please, help a newbie
