➠ Wireshark 1.6.0 up to 1.8.2 DRDA Dissector packet-drda.c dissect_drda resource management
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Wireshark 1.6.0 up to 1.8.2 (Packet Analyzer Software). This vulnerability affects the function dissect_drda of the file epan/dissectors/packet-drda.c of the component DRDA Dissector. Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at anonsvn.wireshark.org. A possible mitigation has been published 1 weeks after the disclosure of the vulnerability. This vulnerability will be fixed in the next release of the software. Until then, a "manual patch":Http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/viewvc?view=revision&revision=44749 is available for existing installations.
