A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Linux Kernel up to 5.11 (Operating System). Affected by this issue is the function list_devices of the file drivers/md/dm-ioctl.c of the component Multi-device Driver Module. Upgrading to version 5.12 eliminates this vulnerability. Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at github.com. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version. ...
