๐ How to untheme desktop environments to their default style

Hey everyone,
I've come to like KDE and am looking at different distros right now. I've noticed that some distros apply theming to the various desktop environments and I'd prefer having the default KDE as opposed to a themed KDE (Garuda for example themes their KDE versions, I think opensuse does too).
Is there an easy way to get rid of those themes/tweaks/settings and have the DE in its default state or would it be better to install the distro with a different de (say gnome or xfce) and then download/install KDE from the running OS and then switch to KDE after the fresh and default install?
Thx for your help!
