Hey! I'm about to start as a Junior Linux Sysadmin next month. I have some quick questions. When it comes to resolving client issues or anything that will require a sysadmin to perform a particular task on a server, how does the sysadmin gain access on the client's server ? Is it via some sort of UI, SSH or something else?
One more thing, let's say I'm about to deploy a "Wordpress" virtual host. The installation requires a database, a username, and a password. Does the client provide those credentials ? Or do I just use some default credentials like (admin:password), and then tell the client what credentials were used? How does that work in general ?
