Ok, so I updated my OpenSUSE 15.4 Beta and one of my steam games stopped working. When I launch the game it gives me the error undefined symbol: SDL_GameControllerGetSerial. Obviously it can't find the statically linked library.

I switched it over to Proton 7.0-2 and the game works perfectly.

So now I'm wondering: What's the point of native Linux games nowadays? Why don't we all just permanently switch over to Proton?

Windows is the ACID test for games and Proton is an implementation for it.
