๐ Is intel_pstate causing problems for anyone else?

I was using intel_pstate for several years, but for the past several months atleast, it's not good at all. The default powersave governor refuses to boost upto the higher frequencies, it just goes upto 1.x GHz max frequency. The performance governor of course stays on the highest frequency all the time, not good for conserving power. Why is there no balanced or even ondemand?!
I finally disabled intel_pstate, switched to acpi-cpufreq and used schedutil governor and it's amazing. The lag and jank I used to face before are gone! My laptop is smooooth, frequency scales as needed. When I need power it's there, and when I don't, it's not draining the battery so much.
I don't know what happened to intel_pstate, but it's useless to me now.
