So i got a disk from a german computer magazine "ComputerBild DVD 23/21 - Hacker tools" Which is basically Lesslinux 22 live with the usual linux toolkit with some kali tools, the usual recovery stuff, plus a program launcher they slapped on top.
Thing is, there is a licensing agreement that pops up before the dock and the launcher loads in. If you deny, system shuts down.
Its all german, so here the translation of some:
$2 (3)User is not allowed to: (a) ... Make copies of software or parts of it on various medias (except ram/hdd)... ...netboot it... ...upload to the internet... ...print it out the code... $3 ... Reverse engineer, decompile, remove features... ...or remove serial numbers and ... product identifiers in any case.
There is no mention of any GPL or open source at all. Also very easy to bypass
Can they do that?
