Linux and gaming

I don't know a better title, so I'll stick with this.

Though I use windows on my pc (mostly for gaming) I think I do actually like and prefer Linux. Better said, Linux has a special place in my heart. Though I use windows, I don't really feel much of a connection or whatever. You also can't customize a lot. With Linux, you can make the OS completely your own. I still would like to use Linux as my main OS, but I don't see much reason to use it. Especially with gaming. Windows is still much better at gaming. Since most games are made with Windows and maybe MAC in mind. Sure you can install Windows games on Linux through these programs that help with running Windows apps in Linux. Steam has one build in too, so you can run Windows games on Linux. But these programs still don't always work. This is why I always stick with Windows in the end. If all programs worked on Linux too, I'd definitely be using Linux. It would probably be bye bye Windows. This really frustrates me. But if you have some tips or whatever, I'd love to hear them!

Yeah you could use a VM, but that might also bring new issues. Dual booting might also be an option, but I'm not sure that's handy. Having to boot to Windows every time you need something in Windows.
