What to learn

I went through my first semester for an IT degree and one class was focused on Linux, before this class I knew what Linux was but never used it, now I’m in love I’ve had Linux on my main computer now for a few months and never plan on putting windows back on to my computer other then on a VM.

So I am looking to learn more about Linux over the summer but I’m not sure what I should focus on. My class went over all the basic things and some advance stuff I learned all the basic commands for moving around, admin stuff like user permissions, group permissions. We went over scripting regex and some networking. I feel the class was not as in-depth as I’d like but it went over everything you could label as beginner or intermediate.

For work purposes what should I focus on will I use Linux daily, from what my professor stated a lot of companies use Linux for servers. I really enjoy coming up with regex formulas (not sure what you would call it) and I really like making bash scripts. I’m just looking for what I should try and learn over the summer and during the rest of my schooling.
