๐ Does BusyBox Violate the UNIX Philosophy?

I've been interested in minimal Linux systems recently so I've been reading up on things like Alpine Linux and KISS Linux, both of which use BusyBox instead of GNU CoreUtils.
If BusyBox is one binary that contains over 300 commands and replaces so many small programs in CoreUtils, that seems like a significant violation of the Unix philosophy. However I have not seem discussions of this online the way I have seen discussions about systemd violating the UNIX philosophy (each program should do one thing and do it well).
Does anyone have thoughts on this?
