๐ RHEL 9โsupport dropped for Intel i5 Haswell CPU?

Iโve been running RHEL 8.x on my 2014 Mac Mini (upgraded to SSD) via Red Hatโs free Developers subscription. My Macโs CPU is a 2.6 GHz Intel Dual Core i5 with 8 gig RAM. This week I tried to upgrade from RHEL 8.6 to RHEL 9. When running RHELโs leapp utility to test system compatibility, it flagged my CPU with the following message โCPU not supported (Haswell Architecture)โ
I was surprised to see that. I run my Mac Mini in dual-boot mode with Appleโs latest OS (Monterery OS12) running fine on my primary boot partition (500 GB SSD NVMe). I thought for sure Apple would drop me before Red Hat. Iโm thinking now of switching back to Fedora Workstation for my Linux drive (500 GB SATA SSD). A puzzler: I believe RHEL 9 is based on the Fedora 33 release, which ran fine on my Mac not long ago. I was running Fedora 35 Workstation last year before switching over to RHEL 8.
