Well, this didn’t last long. After only a few models that got to see the daylight, the Galaxy FE lineup is expected to be dropped by Samsung, according to a recent report, as the company is no longer interested in releasing Fan Edition models. The report comes from SamMobile citing sources familiar with the matter, so for the time being, everybody should just take this piece of information with a healthy dose of skepticism. However, the rumor pretty much makes sense. The Galaxy FE models have never been a major hit, despite Samsung’s attempt to make its premium devices available at a lower price tag. Pretty much cannibalized by the other models in Samsung’s lineup, the FE failed to make an impact, and right now, pulling the plug on the entire series makes perfect sense. The Galaxy S21 FE, for instance, is believed to have been pushed back substantially, so when it was finally announced in January this year, its success has been very limited, to say the least. ...
