Sorry if this is not appropriate.

I have been using linux for a few years now but I feel like my knowledge is lacking, is there a course or a class that can take me from zero to hero type class ?

I am looking to build a pentesting linux distro that does not use systemd and the pentoo guy and some things made me feel odd, was looking into building a pentesting box off of devuan and then tried making one with the gentoo thing but then had tons of problems, figured out I just don't know enough.

Can someone point me to the right place to learn how gnu/linux operating systems work and the "why" behind things? As in how EVERYTHING works? I am open to anything, youtube, udemy, pluralsight, or anything really. Thanks if you can help me.
