Google’s Pixel 5a 5G is theoretically quite a new device, as it’s not even a year old, but the parent company is already announced a one-year extended repair campaign. The Redmond-based software giant says that some Pixel 5a 5G units might come with certainly display issues, and this is why it’s extending the warranty for this particular component by one year. In other words, if you’re device is experiencing certain display problems even after the warranty expires, you should be able to get it repaired if you’re covered by the one-year extended repair program.
