๐ Linux for gaming for a 100% noob

Hey BCS some of my games were running a bit slow I asked on reddit and someone told me that they used Garuda when they wanted to game and didn't touch anything in windows .
I want to do it too but I have no idea where to start........ Can anyone please explain the process?(with great detail cuz I know more about quantum physics than Linux lol)
O yeah I have a question:Did he installed it on a USB and when he wanted to play he plugged it in and launched linux or did he have it in his PC?
I would prefer if it was basically "plugge and play" and I would be ideal if it was with Garuda cuz it has steam(if there is a better one with steam installed then tell me cuz I don't know)
(Just asking if it can run outside my PC can I run it out of a 64gb micro SD card cuz the biggest USB stick I got is 16gb)
Lastly I want to say thank you to all who comment on this post and answer all these simple question cuz without your help I don't think I will ever manage to do it!(especially thank you if you explain the process.......I can understand that it can be very difficult to oversimplify some of the easiest things........)
Thank you a in advance
