๐ My opinion on 'Transparency of Linux' post

This is my humble and honest opinion on this post.
It is right that one has to learn how a car really works or how it was built. So that they know what is happening when they pull the gear lever on a certain position while pressing down the clutch.
However, it is not necessary for them to learn how to build a car, how to do mathematics to design gears, do scientific research for crafting engines. Not only the Linux system or computers, nature posses the same complexity. If you try to break down everything, you will have to study quantum mechanics, particles, atoms and molecules and it is a lot for human brain to hold. Although we do tend to have a little idea about such stuffs to get along with the collaboration (as I mentioned).
I do support OP's arguments as everything around us may seem that complex but I also cannot deny that Linux is transparent since developers or anyone who understands the codes can look into everything. I guess OP mixed the meaning of the terms Discoverbility and Transparency. (Correct me if I am wrong.)
I, also, would not call OP a 'normie'. It is for the fact they are able to think in such a manner. It shows that they have great intellectual ability.
If you want to read more, comments and replies to that post are good. I liked this comment from u/K900_.
