I have seen many people bashing on gnome, for not being customizable and/or not having X feature.
And these people saying that gnome lacks customizablity don't understand what the gnome devs and community want in the DE. they just want everything to be so customizable that they can take out transistors from the chip. But the gnome devs want to make a DE that just works without any shit ton customizations, has an efficient workflow and great ease of use and simplicity, also, Gnome is sufficiently customizable. People with jobs don't want to customize everything they just want to start their machine and get working. And people who say that gnome doesn't have X thing, they don't even look for it in the settings or gnome tweaks, they just assume gnome doesn't have it.
I understand that everyone has their own way and choice but some people just go of the walls with hating on gnome. Anytime someone says anything good about gnome, they start going like "oh, it is better in Y DE" yeah for you it is better in some other but it's not like everybody should use the same thing.
at last I'm not saying gnome is the best there is but some people just annoy me with the gnome hate because I've seen very less amount of people giving reasonable answers on why they don't like gnome but most them are just following the trend. Everybody has their choice, use whatever you want but don't make fun of people for not using your choice, too much.
