🐧 does firefox crash my computer, or does linux not have an internal error handler?

i have been using linux for around a year (i used debian, kubuntu, manjaro and arch), and i found a recurring with firefox and linux. every once in a while, while using firefox, my system for some reason just crashes? and it's not that just firefox crashes, i mean the entire os crashes and can only be closed by forcing shutdown. most of the times this is just an annoying issue, but a few times it did break my grub, which could take me sometimes up to a day just to fix. this is one of the most annoying issues for me with linux so far, and i really want to know if this is a firefox issue or if this is just my system having an internal error. also, if this is an internal error, why does my system not just send an error message? why does this crash my entire computer?
