The travel dev machine

Hey guys, I'm looking for some help to build a lightweight development machine.

For context, I will travel by bike for approximately 1 year and I want to be able to continue to developp some things as my hobby. I will mainly sleep in my tent, sometime in a hotel for internet connection to download some missing libraries :) I have a good power bank, small solar panel and a dynamo on the front wheel that powerup a 5V USB.

Here is some requirments my dream machine should be able to achieve: - lightweight & tiny - Write and Compile some simple C & Rust code - Do some simple MATLAB/Python simulation - cheap - have a wifi interface

Bonus: - be kind of water & dust resistant

If you want to brainstorm with me, here is some ideas I had:

Use a last generation RPI with ubuntu (or other distro), a small usb keyboard and an USB-C to my phone as a display.

As you can see no need to be fancy :D
