My Issue: I am caught in an install Loop with Windows 10. Over a Month making Thumb Drives installing hitting a wall, wipe start over and hit the same Wall. I have the same result no matter the method I use.
In an attempt to keep a 2017 HP Laptop from going to Landfill, I have replaced the Battery, doubled it's RAM and added an NVME SSD + M.2 to NVME adapter slotted into what used to be the WIFI/BT slot, WIFI/BT now a dongle. As Winnows 10 has become an unruly monster the Laptop's 32 GB eMMC can no longer hold it. Now thanks to HP and it's crippled BIOS you can NOT just install to an NVME, as at first reboot after initial install the BIOS errors out "No Bootable Device", my first slam into a wall. So following a YouTube Video with instructions in it's description I attempted Method #1.
PFC Channel UPGRADE USELESS 32GB HP STREAM TO 500GB
Install Pop OS to eMMC (I am loving leaning Linux with Pop), where it fits nicely and runs well. So a sudo apt update/install refind and we are off to the races. REFInd becomes the Boot Manager and Windows 10 installs to NVME (here comes the wall), initial install runs to first reboot and I hit the wall. Selecting the Windows Logo only leads to a Recovery error (every time), selecting Fallback only restarts the install again(every time).
Instruction 21 on the list of video is: You may need to keep rebooting to REFIND and choosing "fallback from USB" if Win10 install restarts until you get the "preparing setup" / "starting services" screen and you can remove the USB
Past an Hour of reboots with no luck, however going by video and comments it works somehow. Boot starts at 1:15 of video.

The wall is starting to hurt with each slam into it!!!! So onto Method #2
Tundra Time Channel HP Stream 14 Upgrade - M.2 Hard Drive Upgrade via WiFi Port - Hard Drive Not Booting Fix!
Duet with rEFInd from Thunb Drive and install Windows 10 to NVME SSD, then after install finished a Formatting and partitioning of the eMMC to house rEFInd so Laptop boots to eMMC (like it's the Thumb Drive) so rEFInd manages the Boot to Windows, no need to keep a Thumb Drive attached to Laptop. I can replicate the process right up until First reboot again. So I am slammed into the wall again. Boot Windows Drive = Recovery Error, Boot Fall Back and install restarts. I am trying my best to keep a smile, but I am growing tired of the taste of brick wall.

I am so sorry to have gone on for so long, but I need the help of a Linux/computer user who may know where I am missing the mark, or a step that may be missing. As I said a simple question with much detail....... To quote a famous line from a movie...."Help me Obi Wan, your my only hope!"
Thank you in advance if you can offer any advice!!!!!!!!!
