Apple Fixes iCloud Private Relay Servers

Apple has now addressed the iCloud Private Relay service outage, and the servers are functioning properly. So, if you've experienced any issues with this service, you can continue using it normally. The iCloud Private Relay server outage happened at around 2 PM Eastern Time, and was going on for more than a day. Apple confirmed the outage through its System Status webpage. The outage prevented some users from browsing the web with Safari. For those unfamiliar with iCloud Private Relay, it is a privacy feature in iCloud+ that keeps your internet activity private. It encrypts your browsing data and sends it through two relay servers, one operated by Apple and the other by a third-party. This ensures that neither Apple, your internet provider, nor the websites you visit can see your true browsing activity. As 9to5Mac suggested, affected users could solve this issue by turning off the iCloud Private Relay feature on their devices. So, if you've done that, you can go ahead and enable it again to keep your connection private and secure. iCloud Private Relay is a part of the iCloud+ subscription, so regular users didn't face any disturbances when browsing the web.
