But I'm not willing to fix my computer every time it updates. I know, skill issue. But the thing is, if you stick to the default repos you're fine. My problem is, I can't. I need software from 3rd party repos to do work. And every time I try Linux that inevitably ends up screwing me over.

Am I the only one with these problems?
