Hello everyone! I’m wanting to change to a better operating system and have done some research and decided I’d like to try zorin os. I currently have a new pc build for gaming that is running windows 11. Im trying to get everything ready for the switch, I’m purchasing an 8gb flash drive for the zorin os download, and I figured out how to access BIOS to boot from the flash drive.
As far as back up of my existing system: I have minimal directories with a few python files and about 8 PC games downloaded from Xbox game pass and steam. Can I use the internal ssd for backup or do I need to purchase an external hard drive? If I do need an external hard drive, what size should I consider or how can I find out the size I will need based on what’s currently in my computer? This is my first time and I just want to make sure I have all my boxes checked, if there’s any other helpful tips feel free to comment! Thanks:)
