What I Built

PikPok is a fun and interactive platform where you can share and explore different types of content, from videos and images to audio and even apps. It’s like TikTok, but with more ways to get creative! Plus, you can earn points by posting or interacting with others (TBD), making it a playful experience that rewards your engagement. Whether you’re sharing videos, music, or cool apps, PikPok is the place to connect, create, and have fun.

More Details

One of the coolest things about the Files API is how easy it makes file management. For public content, I create time-limited URLs for users, so they can share their uploads for a set time. For paid content, the URL isn’t generated right away—it only gets created when users unlock it using their points, which adds a fun layer of interaction.

Uploading content is super fast too, thanks to Pinata’s one-time-use JWTs (JSON Web Tokens), which I use on the client side for secure uploads. This speeds up the whole process and keeps everything smooth. Overall, using these features helped me showcase what the Files API can really do in terms of managing content efficiently!
