🔧 Awesome Oasis Tech To Help Diode Enhance Zero-Trust Networking. Who's Next?

We will talk about the technology Oasis offers to empower smart privacy for web3 and AI. But first things first. Let's start with Diode and how it benefits from using the Oasis tech.

The story starts with Diode's Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) model that is taking web3 by storm. Simply stated, Zero Trust Network (ZTN) is the technology that is fast replacing VPN as the go-to method for secure communication. Its applicability in the Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) is unparalleled, especially as SaaS solutions.

So, what is the catch? Key on-chain logic used in device onboarding and access permissions in the ZTNA model is not without vulnerabilities. Enter Oasis.

Diode's winning the Oasis grant has made it primed to beef up the security for decentralized messaging, p2p tunnels, and on-chain proxy services in an unprecedented manner. So, from currently supporting its own EVM Layer 1 and Moonbeam, Diode will now be able to level up its encryption capabilities with Sapphire's smart privacy infrastructure, enabling confidential smart contracts. This will also expand Sapphire’s use cases into web3 communication and identity.

So far, so good. But, while this is a good development, data privacy and end-to-end encryption are just words until web3 developers can actually see and learn how to deploy smart contracts using Sapphire's confidential EVM.
