Hey folks, I’m working on a situation where a certain subscription tier/feature is technically supported by a platform, but for some reason, it doesn’t appear in the UI for older accounts. However, newer accounts do see this option, and it can even be accessed on the “hidden” accounts through alternative methods (like external storefronts).
This leads me to believe that: • The backend infrastructure for the feature exists and works across all accounts • The UI availability is likely controlled via a feature flag, A/B test, or account metadata
I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible to: 1. Identify what API calls or requests are made when the feature is visible 2. Replicate or replay those requests on the “restricted” account 3. Possibly infer what parameter/flag differentiates the accounts
Would pay around 500€
I’m looking for someone who’s familiar with browser developer tools, request capturing, API behavior analysis, or feature flag handling on web platforms.
If you’re comfortable discussing this kind of technical problem (no shady business – I’m not looking to bypass payments or terms), I’d love to go into more detail via DM.
Thanks!
