A vulnerability categorized as problematic has been discovered in Linux Kernel up to 6.12.36/6.15.5/6.16-rc2. Affected by this vulnerability is the function kzalloc of the component irq_sim. The manipulation leads to improper initialization. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2025-38408. The attack can only be initiated within the local network. There is no exploit available. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component.
