- Saturday : Before heading to the station, I did some coding on my current side project. Made some pretty good progress and then it was time to head out. Sunday : Got quite a few things done over at https://untilit.works but not a lot with my coding side project.
Professional : Had a pretty good day to start the week. Caught up with team members. Had a meeting with my manager. I had them run through the application that I worked on that involved spinning up GitHub Codespaces to be used in interactive tutorials. Good news is that it worked with no problems. Got some good feedback on some things to make it better. Spent some time prepping for the end of year review coming up. I guess it's career climbing season. haha I also took some training that is due this week.
Personal : Been putting in a lot of work into this side project. I've got the orders section of the client's dashboard working. After they place an order, the response from Stripe of a successful payment gets saved to the database and when they go to the orders page, it's listed there. They can click the order and a modal opens that has the order details with a list of the items in one tab and the order tracking in another tab. It's coming together. I really need to get this done, so I can upload product photos and get it to the clients so maybe they will order something for the Christmas season. Also, took some steps to start up a new vinyl project collab.
Fingers crossed that I can get the orders working on the admin dashboard tonight. The main part will be to get orders listed and be able to edit/update them. I may have to make some changes to the client's dashboard but hopefully not a lot. Trying to get these applications done and sent to the client. Going to eat dinner and get to work.
