I Built Rune Because the Internet Started Feeling Disconnected

Reagiere als Erste:r — dein Feedback zählt!

Features

Over the last few years, I noticed something frustrating about the modern internet.

Everything felt fragmented.

One platform for learning.
Another for productivity.
Another for AI.
Another for development.
Another for career tools.
Another for content.

Every workflow meant constantly jumping between disconnected products that were never designed to work together.

As someone who spends most of the day building, researching, designing, experimenting with AI, and creating products, that experience slowly became exhausting.

At some point, I stopped asking:

“What platform should I use next?”

And started asking:

“Why does the internet feel so disconnected in the first place?”

That question eventually led me to build Rune.

Rune Homepage

Rune is not just a tool or a single app.

It’s an ecosystem on the web.

A connected network of platforms built around learning, productivity, development, AI, careers, and modern digital workflows.

The goal behind Rune was never to create another bloated all in one platform trying to do everything.

I wanted to build an ecosystem where every platform solves a focused problem while still feeling connected to a larger vision.

Rune Apps focuses on tools, utilities, and experiences for developers, creators, students, and modern internet users.

RuneLearn focuses on AI generated quizzes, flashcards, and personalized learning systems.

RuneHub is centered around tutorials, developer insights, and emerging technology trends.

RuneCareer focuses on resumes, LaTeX editing, and modern career focused workflows.

Ecosystem

One thing I care deeply about while building Rune is experience quality.

Not just features.

A lot of products today technically work, but they don’t actually feel enjoyable to use.

I believe the future of software is not just about functionality anymore.

It’s about experience.

Performance, motion, clean interfaces, responsiveness, clarity, interaction quality, and thoughtful design all shape how people emotionally connect with products.

That’s the standard I want Rune to represent.

Homepage

The internet is changing incredibly fast right now.

AI has completely changed how quickly ideas can become real products. Small teams can now build things that once required entire companies.

But at the same time, the internet is also becoming noisier than ever.

That’s why I believe design, product thinking, clarity, and user experience matter more now than they ever did before.

Anyone can generate features.

Very few people build experiences people actually remember.

Brandimage

Rune is still early, and there’s still a lot left for me to build, improve, and learn.

But this is the beginning of something I’ve wanted to create for a very long time.

Not just another startup.

But an ecosystem that feels modern, connected, and genuinely useful for the next generation of the internet.

If you want to follow the journey, you can explore Rune here:

And honestly, this is only the beginning.
