Low Profile GPU - 4060 or AMD?

Hey, I'm sure the question of AMD or NVIDIA was asked countles times and as far as I know, AMD ist better for Linux. But here ist my problem: I play with the idea of building a really small PC and I really like the Jonsbo NV10. The hurdle is: you can only use low profile GPUs with a half sized bracket. After some research I know, that the 4060 is (aside from the 5060) by far the best performing GPU in that form factor. AMD basically does not have a competing GPU. The best AMD GPUs that I found were the 6500/6400, which only fare about 40% of the performance of a 4060. Should I just use Linux with the 4060 or would it be Just a better idea going for a bigger case (like the Lian Li H2O) that can fit stronger AMD GPUs?
