Expeditions: Samurai Preview (PC)

The fourth game in the Expeditions series, which started back in 2013 with the release of Expeditions: Conquistador, is called Expeditions: Samurai. If you haven’t guessed by now, the game takes players to Japan, loosely following the path to the English navigator William Adams (of Shogun book and TV show fame) in the year 1600, leading up to the Battle of Skigahara that cemented Tokugawa Ieyasu as the ultimate unifier of Japan. Expeditions: Samurai remains an expansive party-based RPG set in our world during real historical events, which promises to offer players an intricate, branching story, as well as a vibrant cast of characters. Just like the previous installments in the series, Expeditions: Samurai is split into acts, but only the first one is available at the moment.
