Choosing an API documentation platform isn't only about how the final documentation looks. For development teams, the workflow behind it matters just as much.

It depends on what you're actually trying to solve.

For a complete developer portal, GitBook or ReadMe can make sense.

The biggest difference isn't necessarily the documentation UI. It's whether your documentation remains synchronized with the API development process.
