nmcli DNS Discrepancy
I have a DNS issue that seemingly came up out of nowhere. I can ping IP addresses fine, but no joy on FQDNs/URLs. The output of
The same is seen in /etc/resolv.conf since NetworkManager controls that.
The output of
nmcli connection show ethernet shows the following after manually changeing via the
nmcli connection edit options:
I can't find anywhere else in nmcli where 10.14.0.1 is listed or can be changed other than when issuing the
nmcli command without any options. If I manually change /etc/resolv.conf to 126.96.36.199, all is good until I reboot or NetworkManager catches up and changes it back. I've triple checked that there aren't any static DNS servers set in DHCP. Has anyone run into this issue in the past and successfully resovled it?
