André Fabian Silva Delgado proudly announced the availability for download of the live ISO images of the Parabola GNU/Linux-libre 2016.07.27 operating system based on Arch Linux. It's been a long time since we last heard something from the Parabola GNU/Linux-libre project, whose main design goal is to provide an a spin on the popular and lightweight Arch Linux distribution powered by the GNU/Linux-libre kernel. This automatically translates to the fact that it's a 100% free computer operating system. Parabola GNU/Linux-libre is also popularly known as the unofficial "libre" variant of Arch Linux, and the latest version, 2016.07.27, includes all the latest security updates and software releases that have been published in the main repositories since the previous ISO refresh. According to the release notes, Parabola GNU/Linux-libre 2016.07.27 is distributed in three editions, Main (basic version for installation and recovery), MATE (built around the MATE desktop env... ...
